Adding a New Tax Rate

Add your Sales, Excise taxes, VAT, or other taxes on Akaunting and track them with the [tax summary report](https://akaunting.com/hc/docs/reports/tax-summary-report/).

Adding a New Tax Rate:


- * Go to Settings on the Sidebar.


- * Select Taxes from the expanded Navigation Menu.


- * Click New tax.


- Enter the following details:- Name of tax

- - * Rate (%)


-


- - * Type: Choose from Compound, Fixed, Inclusive, Normal, or Withholding.


- * Then, Save.
