Receiving Online Payment

You can add and receive online payments through various payment methods on Akaunting. Recipients of invoices have the option of paying you through online payment methods.

To start receiving online payments, install your preferred payment method from the Akaunting store:


- * Go to Apps on the Navigation Menu.


- * On the Apps page, click the Grid Menu Icon at the top left corner to reveal a list of App categories.


- * Select Payment Method to see a list of available online payment methods on Akaunting.


- * Pick your preferred payment method and Install it.

- * Go to Settings on your Akaunting UI.


- * Then select your installed online payment method.


- * Enter your payment method account details.


- * Switch to Yes on the toggle button to show the payment method on customer invoices.


- * Then, Save.

For example, if you are using Paypal to receive online payments


- * Follow the process above to Install PayPal Express.


- * Go to Settings from your Akaunting UI and select PayPal Express.


- * Enter the required details.


- * Switch to Yes on the toggle button.


- * Then, Save.

When you send Invoices, customers will have the option of paying you using Paypal.

**Receiving Cryptocurrency Payments**

You can receive crypto payments on Akaunting through crypto.com.


- * Go to Apps from your Akaunting UI.


- * On the Apps page, click the Grid Menu Icon at the top left corner to reveal a list of App categories.


- * Select Payment Method to see a list of available online payment methods on Akaunting.


- * Buy and Install the Crypto.com app.


- * Go to Settings from your Akaunting UI and select [Crypto.com](http://Crypto.com).


- * Enter the required details.


- * Switch to Yes on the toggle button.


- * Then, Save.

When you send Invoices, customers will have the option of paying you using Cryptocurrency.
