The Company Dashboard
You can view your company’s financial information summary on the Company dashboard.
The Dashboard contains, by default, the following:
1. Date picker
2. Receivables
3. Payables
4. Cash flow
5. Profit & Loss
6. Expenses
7. Account Balance
8. Connect your bank
**Date Picker**
The date picker filters dashboard reports based on a selected date range.

**Receivables**
Receivables display the expected monies from your customers. And it is divided into:
- * Open – The invoiced amount that is yet to be paid by customers within a specific timeframe and is expected to be received within the due date.
and,
- * Overdue – The invoiced amounts that have exceeded due dates.
You can see details of the information by clicking on View Report.
**Payables**
Payables show your unpaid bills within a selected date range. The section is divided into two parts:
- * Open – The amount of unsettled bills yet to exceed the due dates.
and,
- * Overdue: The amount of unsettled bills that have exceeded their due dates.
You can see details of Payables by clicking on View Report.
**Cash flow**
Cash Flow summarizes your income, expense, and profitability within a set accounting period.

The above information is in a performance chart with color codes representing incoming and outgoing cash and profit.
You can click the three horizontal lines on the top right corner to download the report on display.
**Profit & Loss**
The Profit & Loss chart shows your income and expenses, including unpaid invoices and bills, within a specific time.
You can see details of Profit & Loss by clicking on View Report.

**Expenses By Category**
See all your expenses from different categories, such as projects, employees, inventory, and other custom categories.
You can see details of Profit & Loss by clicking on View Report.
**Account Balance**
The Account Balance section displays all your accounts on Akaunting and their balances.
**Connect Your Bank**
Import your bank transactions to Akaunting automatically by connecting your bank.
All transactions are auto-synced.
